The Southern New England SQL Server User Group (SNESSUG) is an official chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server, an independent, not-for-profit association committed to providing SQL Server professionals around the world with the resources and knowledge necessary to achieve unparalleled business results.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Southern New England SQL Server User Group (SNESSUG) is to create and maintain a local forum in the Southern New England area for SQL Server professionals to provide education, networking, and opportunities to influence the direction of SQL Server and related products and services.

The purpose of the SNESSUG is to provide an independent local forum for database administrators, developers and general users of Microsoft SQL Server as well as users and vendors of products and services related to Microsoft SQL Server to exchange knowledge and build professional relationships. To support that purpose, the chapter shall undertake the following:

  • Actively advance and promote the effective utilization of products and services by promoting a free exchange of information concerning the effective use of such products and services by members of the organization;
  • Conduct meetings and other programs concerned with the development and exchange of information among members;
  • Communicate user needs in all areas of interest;
  • Provide feedback to the vendor of the SQL Server family of products.
